In some instances, such as geographical restrictions or inclement weather, clients request services to be delivered virtually (either by telephone or secure video platforms). Only video platforms that have been specifically designed for healthcare professionals, use end-to-end encryption, are PHIPPA compliant and do not record or store the session are utilized. Specific privacy issues when using tele-psychology platforms will be discussed prior to use.
